Information we collect automatically

When you visit the SOAPSTAR Sites, interact with SOAPSTAR Content, or contact us digitally, we automatically collect certain information from your computer, tablet, or mobile phone (a " Device ") using automated technologies such as cookies. 16. What information does SOAPSTAR collect when I visit a SOAPSTAR Location?

SOAPSTAR has offices and warehouses ( 'SOAPSTAR Locations' ). When you visit a SOAPSTAR Location, we collect your personal information for the following purposes:

Visitor information: For health, safety and security reasons, we keep a register of visitors to SOAPSTAR Locations which includes your first and last name, your contact details including mobile number, your employer and the registration number of your vehicle. We ask all our visitors to register at reception and may ask our visitors to show a form of identification which will only be used for verification purposes and will not be recorded.

CCTV System: Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is installed at the entrances, exits and other strategic locations at the SOAPSTAR Locations. This is part of SOAPSTAR's commitment to a safe and secure environment for our employees and visitors. We can also use the images to prevent and investigate crime. The images can be recorded and viewed by authorized persons. The recorded CCTV data is stored for up to 90 days. We may retain the data for longer if we have a legitimate reason to do so, for example when a crime is being investigated by the police or law enforcement authorities.

CCTV on the outside of some SOAPSTAR Locations and in some public areas, for example reception areas, cannot be controlled by us and is under the supervision of the relevant building landlord. Please refer to their privacy statements for more information.

Accidents and Incidents: SOAPSTAR will collect personal information from anyone who has been injured or suffered ill health while visiting a SOAPSTAR Location. We may collect name, address, age, next of kin and details of the incident, including relevant medical history. We collect this information because we are legally required to document workplace incidents/accidents and report certain types of accidents, injuries and hazardous occurrences resulting from work to the relevant enforcement agency. We will use the personal data collected to investigate and improve our health and safety procedures, and to support any legal claims arising from the incident.
